Week 37: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

The Good:
Got to go on exchanges with Elder Conder. It was great to catch up with him and relive some good moments back in the Adelanto House.
Gained 6 new investigators this week!!:

Dave -  we tracted into him. We asked him if he would be interested in learning more and he just thought for a second and then told us that it was time that he should learn more. We taught the restoration to him and answered his questions about some of our basic beliefs.

Freddy -  after we taught him the Restoration he said that he was really excited to read from the Book of Mormon and learn more from us!

Mandy + Victor - tracted into a LONG time ago but we kept trying and we thought they were giving us the run around but they're just really busy. We taught them the Restoration and asked if they would pray to know the truth and they said that they would.

Ula + Tiffany - don't really know how solid they are because Ula is 87 and Tiffany is like 10 so comprehension might not be the best for the both of them but they enjoyed our words at least. Elder Conder and I actually tracted into them when we were on exchanges and taught them right there.

We had interviews this week, they went good.

We had Stake meetings with the Stake President and the mission President and such and that also went good. The Stake has been seeing improvement over the past couple months. President Taylor didn't chastise us about anything so that's a good day in my book.

We had one investigator at church!

The Bad:
We were checking on a less active/ part-member house and the ex-husband informed us that the less-active lady we were looking for moved and wants nothing to do with the church. Then he started to blast us with a bunch of Anti stuff. We withstood with some smiles and got to the truck laughing quite a bit.

We only had one investigator at church.

Church was only two hours because it was a regional broadcast.

The Ugly:
We taught our investigator, Vivian, the Word of Wisdom and learned that she smokes. So we're going to do our best to help her with that along with the help she'll receive from the Lord.

All the dogs in the neighborhood still bark at us a lot.

I didn't take a lot of pictures this week.

Sorry that this one was kinda brief. We're working as hard as we can and the Lord has our backs. Remember to always be looking for missionary opportunities. Some of the best missionary work is just providing service and then waiting for them to ask you some gospel questions which they WILL if we serve them.

Love you all, feed the missionaries, give referrals, pray!
Love,
Elder Puzey
