Week 60: Happy 4th

Well this week Mike was able to make it to church! We also had Kris there, he's the step brother of one of the members in the YSA ward. We started talking to him at institute because we didn't really know the whole story. Turns out he's not a member and he told us he's been close to getting baptized for a while now so when we asked if we could start meeting with him he was all for it.

On the fourth we got to help with a Freedom Run which was fun. Sadly we didn't even get the slightest whiff of fireworks that night.

Saturday we were on exchanges and Elder Bryner came back to visit me! We even played some morning tennis just like old times.

It's been pretty hot out lately, on Friday we maxed out at 116 degrees. Luckily we had some planning and computer work to do.

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the summer. I'd challenge everyone to prayerfully consider one person that you can focus on to reach out to. Doesn't even have to be church related, just extended that hand of friendship and ministering to our brothers and sisters around us.

Love,
Elder Puzey
