Week 72: Two for One

Well on Tuesday we went to Rancho Cucamonga to get some flu shots. While we were there the office elders were there and both of the office elders are two of my former companions, Elder Nordgren and Elder Bryner. They were busy doing office elder stuff and they invited me to go up into the attic to help restart the router so that was fun.

We were able to teach a new person on Thursday. His name is Joe and he's pretty familiar with some of our basic beliefs. To be honest he's just a retired guy and doesn't seem super prepared but having someone to teach is better than nothing.

Well to rebound from last week we have another car story:
We were driving to dinner and we had a few spare minutes so we decided to try to stop by a couple of people that had shown interest in the past. So we drive up to one, knock on the door, no one's home. So we drive up to the next person and as we're doing so I spot a black McLaren lurking in someone's open garage. So we try the person and then on the way back down we "accidentally" make a wrong turn onto the street with the McLaren and when we did the guy had just gotten home from work in his black Lamborghini Huracan.. Sadly we couldn't take any pictures cause it'd be weird to take a picture of someone's garage but you can take my word for it. Some good tender mercies this week.

It's looking pretty hot today but apparent'y there's some rain coming from the south so we might get to see some of that the next couple days! Yay for rain!

The other day we were tracting and we went through a gate to get to this one door and as soon as we knocked a dog came flying around the corner and almost destroyed Elder Worsham but it slipped on a toy Batmobile which caused it to be scared at us. It sat there barking at us while we knocked a couple more times and then we slowly moved towards the gate while it kept lunging at us. We made it out safe though!

Not too much this week. I hope everyone takes it easy and preps for conference coming up this weekend!

Love,
Elder Puzey
