Week 38: Week 6

Well this is the last week of this transfer. To be honest this transfer has been going by pretty quickly so we'll see how the last week goes. We don't really know if either (or both I guess) of us are going to get transferred so we'll see but up until this point it's been a pretty good time. The Bear Valley Ward is so awesome! We've been trying our best to do as much work here as we can and turn the area around and we haven't really seen THAT much success but we feel good about our efforts. We are still working with Vivian. We talked with her and pushed her baptism date back to the beginning of March but she's made some big improvements with her smoking and the Ward has really welcomed her and made her feel at home so we feel confident that eventually she'll get into the water and make her first covenants.

On Thursday we went down to Rancho for a Mission Leadership Council meeting and it was nice like always to see some green again and be able to breathe some (very polluted) fresh air and most importantly some very nice and very expensive cars. Since last Monday I had a little bit of a cold coming on so I was in the back creating a disturbance with my sniffing and coughing but luckily it really wasn't too bad. Woke up Friday though and my whole body just ached and I was SO tired. Sounded like a pack-a-day smoker so we stayed in to spare the outside world of my disease and so I could sleep for a grand total of like 16 hours. Felt real nice.

On Wednesday I was on exchanges in the Spanish area so I pretty much just got to sit back and relax because I know next to nothing in Spanish. Shame on me for not taking it in High School like every other person in America. Other than that nothing else to report really. The Patriots didn't win the Super Bowl so that's the best thing to happen so far this year.

Next week I'll either be emailing you from the same spot or somewhere new!

Love,
