Week 11: Untitled
Editor's Note:
Elder Puzey's email was very short this week and he sent no pictures. Anyone who knows Bronson is not surprised by his lack of words :) But we got information from the field via facebook:
Elder Puzey's district made a scripture study event and we had a really good turn out so we're going to read all of the Book of Mormon with some investigators, less actives and recent converts! It's very exciting! And I'll get you a picture every Wednesday plus dinner on Saturday!

Sadly there isn't much to report like last week. But some good things have been happening. We got two of our investigators (Diane and Stephen) on date. While that doesn't guarantee that they're going to get baptized, it does increase the likelihood a whole lot. We recently had some training that reminded us that there are people out there that are ready to be baptized and we just need to find them. Our mission set up a goal to contact 10 new people a day. Doing this allows us to find those people that are ready to hear the message of the restored gospel. This does not replace how valuable members are to the work of missionaries. The last four baptisms that the Elder's in the Hurtado house (the house we currently live) have all been member referrals. Members, don't be afraid to give your friends as referrals to the missionaries, you're simply sharing something that will give them more joy than they have ever known.
In my reading of the Book of Mormon I just got to the part where Jesus visits the Nephites and Lamanites. It reminded me of how cool Jesus is. There is also a part in there where Jesus gets "mad" that the people didn't write down what Samuel the Lamanite said and it reminded me of the importance of writing down revelation. Something that my old young men's leader would always say is that revelation not written is revelation lost. I wanna make sure y'all write in your journals, especially if it's some good personal revelation.
I hope y'all are enjoying summer and hopefully it isn't as hot where you are as it is here!!
Love,
Elder Puzey
